Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Raphael Pugh (ranked 4083 p4p, 3401 weight class) and Julio Cordova (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cordova has chosen El Borracho as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Daniel Blasius and Albert Achterberg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pugh rushes Cordova and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Cordova stops a takedown attempt from Pugh.
Pugh goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Cordova manages to break the clinch.
Cordova cracks Pugh with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Cordova throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Pugh stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Cordova throws a series of punches but Pugh avoids them all with ease.
Pugh wants to clinch up but Cordova keeps it at a distance.
Pugh throws a nice looking combination but Cordova bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
With the fighters up against the cage, Pugh throws an elbow but misses.
Pugh tries to work over Cordova's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.

Cordova has Pugh pressed against the cage.
Cordova pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Pugh throws out a token jab with nothing on it.

and Cordova counters with a series of strikes. Pugh will be more careful next time no doubt.

Pugh lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Cordova circles away quickly and effectively.
Cordova lands a really nice looking cross but Pugh seems unphased.

Cordova has been looking to improve his clinch game in recent weeks. Pugh seems to have the measure of him in the clinch so far, so let's see if Cordova can turn it around.

Cordova lands a nice looking kick to the body. Pugh takes a step back to recover.
Cordova uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Pugh.
Cordova lands a really nice looking cross but Pugh seems unphased.
Oooooh!!! Cordova has knocked Pugh down with a huge combo! Cordova steps away and waves a wobbly Pugh back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
It looks like Raphael Pugh has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Cordova lands with a right and another and another! Pugh is in big trouble! Cordova lands again and this time it's lights out for Pugh! A quality knockout there for Cordova.

Julio Cordova bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
