Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 14 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Samart Bukaew! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Philip Maxwell! The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Winston Howard and Chris Dean.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Maxwell with a lazy takedown attempt and Bukaew counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena. Philip Maxwell seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Bukaew connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Maxwell gets the takedown into side control. Maxwell wants to control but Bukaew is keeping him busy. Bukaew manages to work his way to half guard, despite Maxwell's best efforts.
Maxwell is trying to work for a kimura but Bukaew is defending well.
Maxwell trying to mount his opponent but Bukaew defends it. Maxwell is trying to control. Bukaew wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Maxwell misses with a head shot. Bukaew uses the momentum to regain guard. Bukaew wants to sweep but no luck.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Maxwell pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Bukaew is keeping the position for now. Bukaew looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Maxwell trying to control the position from guard on top but Bukaew is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Maxwell slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Maxwell has knee on belly and moves into mount.
Maxwell is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Bukaew can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Maxwell is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Bukaew is surviving well by controlling Maxwell's body position as best he can.
 That's two minutes gone in the round.
Maxwell is working for a guillotine from mount but Bukaew frees his head quite easily.
Bukaew has given up his back - I don�t know if this is a deliberate ploy to try and escape or if he is just struggling down there.
Bukaew wants to get back to his feet.
Maxwell is working for a rear naked choke. Bukaew is not defending it well and Maxwell has tightened it up quickly! This could be all over! Bukaew refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Bukaew's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!
