Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, John Johnson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 3 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Slade Sutton! The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Anthony Taglia and Columbo Gatti.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnson rushes Sutton and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Johnson breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Sutton connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Johnson's hands. Sutton moves in looking to clinch but Johnson pushes him off. Sutton rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Johnson moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Sutton changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Johnson misses with a jab, cross combination.
Sutton is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Johnson moves into the clinch successfully.
Johnson escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Johnson drives through and clinches with Sutton against the cage.
Sutton blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Johnson breaks the clinch.
Sutton misses with a series of wild punches.
 That's one minute gone in the round.
Johnson has Sutton up against the cage in a clinch.
Sutton tries to score a body lock takedown but Johnson shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Sutton is trying to break free.
Johnson decides to pull guard.
Johnson looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Sutton would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Johnson has control of Sutton's left arm, preventing Sutton from doing any damage.
Johnson working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Sutton doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Johnson is tightening it up a little... Sutton has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Sutton reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Sutton taps out! Nice BJJ there by Johnson!
