This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the super heavyweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of Las Vegas, with a TWGC record of 23 wins and 50 losses; Red Hestler! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Las Vegas, with a TWGC record of 45 wins and 54 losses; Filmore Everett! The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Chris Edwards and Paul Tew.
The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way. Everett changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Hestler tries to avoid it but Everett manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Hestler to the ground. Hestler escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Hestler gets a clinch. Everett is working for takedown but Hestler is calmly controlling the position for now.
Everett manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Hestler has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Hestler controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Everett had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Hestler defends it easily. Hestler engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Everett manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Hestler manages to get himself to full guard.

Everett takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Hestler keeps control of the position for the meantime. Everett is keen to just control but Hestler is a slippery customer.

 That's ten minutes gone in the round. Hestler wants to hold on but Everett pushes him away. Everett can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Hestler is looking to escape.
Everett goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Hestler turns into him and now he's in Everett's guard.

Everett working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Hestler doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Hestler manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
 That's eleven minutes gone in the round. Everett tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Hestler got a little sloppy there for a moment and Everett has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Hestler has managed to get both his arms back between Everett's legs - danger averted. Hestler is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Hestler stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Everett swivels though and keeps the full guard.
 That's twelve minutes gone in the round.

 That's thirteen minutes gone in the round. Hestler tries to free his leg and advance position but Everett is retaining full guard.

 That's fourteen minutes gone in the round. Hestler passes easily into side control. Nice work. Score +3 for passing guard: Hestler (5) vs (5) Everett Everett is trying to control Hestler's posture but Hestler avoids it. Hestler wants to control but Everett is keeping him busy. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Everett seems a little lost for a moment, as Hestler dominates the positioning. Hestler wants to take a breather but Everett manages to regain guard - a lesson learnt for Hestler.
And that's the end of the fight! As we have tied on points, we go to a tie breaker and Everett gets a bonus point for attempting more subs. Everett wins on points by 6 to 5. Filmore Everett very nearly forgot to thank The Huntington New Age Wellness Community amongst all the excitement of his win but just as the interview came to a close, he screamed their name.
