And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Alex New World!
The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Ron Honeybunn and Steve Erwin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
New World avoids a punch combination nicely.
Lyle throws a body punch but New World moves out of range.
Lyle throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Lyle misses with the combination.
New World looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Donny Lyle seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lyle's corner calls for a 1-2. Lyle obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
It looks like Alex New World has been cut.
New World uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Lyle.
Lyle misses with an uppercut. New World saw that one coming.
It seemed like New World was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
New World throws a shot to the body.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
New World bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Lyle avoids a kick to the body.
New World looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Lyle scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
New World lands a jab.
It looks like Donny Lyle has been cut.

New World connects with a good right hand that stumbles Lyle. Lyle circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
New World fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Lyle manages to avoid it.
Lyle fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
New World misses with a straight left.
Lyle lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but New World circles away quickly and effectively.
New World throws out a loose jab but Lyle uses good head movement to avoid it.
Lyle takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Lyle misses with a hook
and New World counters with a huge left! Lyle is in big trouble! He's backing up but New World isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Lyle from any more damage. A dominating finish by New World!
