Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Handsome Mail (ranked 2856 p4p, 3807 weight class) and Filippo Coca (ranked 241 p4p, 305 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Handsome Mail! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Filippo Coca! The judges for this bout are George Francis, Wesley Smith and Alan Glass.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Coca connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Coca connects with a crisp jab. A low kick from Coca is predictable there and Mail counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Mail has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. Coca scores with a nice strike. The fighters circle momentarily. Mail darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Coca gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Coca misses with a leg kick and Mail connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Coca throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Mail swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. Coca scores with a push kick. A combination from Coca does no damage. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Coca just misses with a punch to the body.
Coca misses with a right hand enabling Mail to counter with a crisp jab. Mail lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Coca backs up against the cage.
Coca dodges the punch combination from Mail.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Coca misses with a hook. Mail ducked under it nicely. Coca loads up on a big right hand but Mail slips the punch. Mail goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Mail missing with a left hand there. Coca was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Coca was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind. Coca misses with a lunging right hand
and Mail counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Coca. It looked like Mail wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. Coca misses with a right hand and Mail counters with a stiff right hand. A head kick by Coca misses and Mail counters with a straight right hand. Coca misses with a right hand and Mail counters with a series of strikes. Coca will be more careful next time no doubt. Coca takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Coca throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Coca misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Mail.
Coca throws a shot from downtown. Mail moves away and avoids it. It looked like Mail was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Coca gets in close and instigates a clinch. Coca tries to pull guard but Mail forces him back to his feet, against the cage. Mail taking a break, stalling in the clinch.
Mail gets through Coca's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. Mail manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Mail's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. Coca is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Mail is keeping busy.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Coca lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage. Coca throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Mail blocks it with crossed arms. Mail misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Coca pushes Mail back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Mail escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Coca fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Mail on the side of the head. Coca misses the jab. Coca rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Mail counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Mail is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Coca throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Coca throws a leg kick and Mail connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. A telegraphed right hand from Coca misses the target. It looked like Mail wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. Coca closes the distance but Mail moves to the side and Mail counters with a nice uppercut. Coca misses with a series of wild punches.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Mail lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Coca at a distance.
Mail scores with a nice head shot. Coca looks to land a right hand but Mail moved out of range. Mail lands a really nice looking cross but Coca seems unphased.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Handsome Mail dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Mail uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Coca. We've been informed that Coca has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight. A slow jab from Coca misses its intended target. Mail throws a big counter combination but Coca scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage. Mail with a nice cross. Mail looks to land a right hand but Coca moved out of range. Coca misses with a hook
and Mail counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Coca thinking. Mail connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Coca momentarily.
Mail scores with a decent looking hook. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Coca tries to clinch but fails miserably and Mail counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Coca misses with an uppercut. Mail was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. Coca takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Coca tries a low kick but Mail avoids it.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Coca takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Handsome Mail is winning the standup battle so far. Coca lands a head kick. Mail smiles back at him and beckons him forward. Coca connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Coca bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Mail's head. Coca throws a hook to the side of Mail's head but Mail sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Coca connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Coca looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Mail works Coca's body with a nice hook. Coca scoring well with a low kick there.
Coca throws a low kick but it's checked well by Mail. Coca throws a solid leg kick but Mail takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Coca. Filippo Coca seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Coca gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Mail. Coca throws a lazy right hand but Mail sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Mail looks to land a left hand but Coca moved out of range nicely. Coca looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. Mail misses with a two punch combination.
Mail misses the shot to the body. Mail clobbers Coca with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Mail looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Jab by Coca.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Mail looks to land a combination. Coca sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Mail scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Coca tries to clinch but Mail moves away and Mail counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Mail lands with an uppercut that bounces Coca off the cage and back into range. Mail moves out of range of the strikes. Mail slips under a jab from Coca. Coca throws a leg kick that is checked and Mail counters with a left to the body. Coca misses with an uppercut
enabling Mail to counter with a crisp jab. Coca misses with a straight right. Good work by Mail as he checks the leg kick. Coca attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Handsome Mail dominated that second round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

Coca moves to clinch but Mail breaks away enabling Mail to counter with a crisp jab. Coca steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Mail. Mail lands a slapping body shot.
Coca lands a front kick. Coca misses with a leg kick and Mail counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. A slow jab from Mail misses its intended target. And an attempted straight right on the counter from Coca! But no joy. Filippo Coca has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Nice body punch from Coca. Coca swings widly with a right hand
and Mail counters with a one-two to the body.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Coca doesn't manage to clinch there - Mail circles away.

Mail throws out a powerful jab. Coca throws an overhand right that lands on Mail's shoulder, as Mail tries to avoid the shot.
And that's the end of the fight! Handsome Mail showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Mail, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
