Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Tommy Riordon!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Daysel Wickline!
The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Kenichi Hosakawa and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Riordon shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Wickline defends it nicely.
Riordon shoots in for a double leg but Wickline sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Wickline closes the distance and pushes Riordon back into the cage.
Riordon drops down looking for an ankle pick but Wickline pulls his leg out and moves away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tommy Riordon. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Wickline has Riordon up against the cage in a clinch.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Wickline has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Wickline lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.

Riordon has Wickline pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Wickline manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Riordon is trying to drag Wickline to the mat but Wickline just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Riordon changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Wickline fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Wickline tries to counter with a clinch but Riordon shakes him off and moves away.

Wickline lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Riordon has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Wickline is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Riordon changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Wickline fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Riordon has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Wickline avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Wickline lands a right hand that snaps the head of Riordon backwards.
Wickline lands an uppercut.
Riordon turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Riordon manages to end up in side control.
Wickline can't do much from the bottom here.
Wickline is looking to regain half guard here but Riordon keeps moving and retains side control.
We've been hearing that Riordon has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.

Riordon throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.
Wickline avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Riordon.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Wickline looks to move to half guard but instead Riordon has passed into mount! Damn!
Poor strikes thrown by Riordon there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!

Wickline is bucking up trying to escape but Riordon cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Riordon lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Riordon looking to finish here with some ground and pound. He lands one big shot that has Wickline covering up... and two more big strikes land, forcing the referee to step in and put and end to proceedings! This fight is all over!
