Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Luka Kustik!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, John Thomas!
The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Hirohito Nitta and Yasuomi Hirokawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kustik lands a jab to the nose.
Thomas looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Kustik cracks Thomas with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Kustik pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Thomas back to the cage. Kustik follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
It looks like John Thomas has been cut.
Some wild striking there from Kustik.
Thomas with a poor takedown
and Kustik counters with a stiff right hand.
Kustik leaves Thomas with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Kustik clinches up with Thomas and pushes him back against the cage.
Kustik escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Kustik jabs Thomas to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Kustik clinches.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Kustik lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Kustik is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Kustik escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Kustik connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Thomas momentarily.
We've been told by Kustik's head coaches at Kaptajnernes Træningscenter that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Thomas drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Thomas is rocked!
Kustik connects with a stiff jab that staggers Thomas - oh and he follows up with a huge uppercut that knocks him out cold! Man, that was brutal!
