The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Shigeki Fujiwara.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dje tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Artu defends well and Dje ends up having to push Artu into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Dje tries to pull guard but Artu holds him up against the cage and eventually Dje drops back down to his feet.

Artu stands and throws Dje's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Dje tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Artu wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Artu really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Dje. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Artu lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
Artu scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Dje is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Artu can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!
