Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Koa Bouddi (ranked 1815 p4p, 1316 weight class) and Stan Man (ranked 145 p4p, 108 weight class). Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 26 - 16 - 1, fighting out of London, Koa Bouddi!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 23 - 20 - 2, fighting out of London, Stan Man!
The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Wagner Zegers and Albert Achterberg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bouddi misses with an uppercut. Man saw that one coming.
Man shoots in for a takedown but Bouddi shows good takedown defense.
Man on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Man darts in looking for a takedown but Bouddi gets double underhooks and turns Man into the cage.
Bouddi throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Bouddi misses the jab.
Man uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Bouddi.
Bouddi tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Man throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bouddi misses the jab.
Bouddi tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Man was well out of range. Poor timing from Bouddi.
Man shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Bouddi as he avoids it easily.
Bouddi appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body.
Koa Bouddi has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Stan Man.
Bouddi throws an off balance right hand

and Man counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Bouddi avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.

Bouddi looking to hit a scissor sweep but Man is one step ahead there.
Man postures up in Bouddi's guard and throws a big left but Bouddi blocks it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Man passes easily into side control. Nice work.

Man goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Bouddi rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Man's guard! Nice work there by Bouddi!
Bouddi is looking to stand up but Man won't let him.
Man pulls Bouddi in close to his closed guard and prevents Bouddi from doing any damage or advancing position.

Bouddi stands up and waves to Man to follow him.
Bouddi throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Man ducks under a wild hook from Bouddi.
Bouddi throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
Good exchange - Bouddi coming out on top.
Bouddi with a jab.
Bouddi throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Man shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Bouddi pinned against the cage. Bouddi gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Bouddi throws a sloppy head kick

and Man counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Bouddi!
Man wants to control but Bouddi is keeping him busy.
Man misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Bouddi takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
Man cracks Bouddi with a big elbow.
Man misses with the ground and pound.

Man goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Bouddi has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Man but great work by Bouddi.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Man takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Bouddi swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Bouddi throws a body kick that misses

and Man counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Man.
Bouddi avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.

Man is stalling in the full guard.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Koa Bouddi dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Bouddi scores with a leg kick.
Koa Bouddi is winning the standup battle so far.

Man feints and as Bouddi raises his hands in defense, Man changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Bouddi looking for a sweep. Not yet Bouddi, not yet.
Man connects with a couple of short punches.
Man throws a big elbow that misses.
Bouddi keeping moving, preventing Man from controlling successfully.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Man stands up over Bouddi, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Bouddi wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
Bouddi wants to sweep but no luck.

Man working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.
Bouddi tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Man throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Bouddi works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Man throwing strikes but missing.
Man pushing down on Bouddi's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
Man thows a huge punch but Bouddi dodges it nicely.
Bouddi is trying to get back to full guard.
Man is keen to just control but Bouddi is a slippery customer.

Bouddi keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Man throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Bouddi is not content to let Man control the position.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Koa Bouddi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bouddi swings away with a body shot that misses

and Man counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Man has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Bouddi preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Man is pushing down on Bouddi's leg trying to pass to half guard. Bouddi is fighting to maintain full guard but Man has managed to sneak the leg through.

Man is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Bouddi defends it well.

Bouddi is defending against the submission attempts here by Man.

Man throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Man throwing shots but Bouddi is blocking nicely.

Man seems to be working for a kimura but Bouddi defends the submission attempt.
Man with the ground and pound but Bouddi uses the opportunity to regain guard.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Man wants to control from the top but Bouddi keeps moving.
Man throws a strike but Bouddi rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Man is looking to cinch up a triangle. Bouddi throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Man's body to avoid the submission. Man has instead reached around Bouddi's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Man arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:57 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Stan Man!
During a confident post fight interview, Stan Man thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
