Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kevin Down (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chase Storm (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Down comes to the cage accompanied by 311 Down. Storm has chosen Pantera (Walk) as his entrance music. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Kevin Down! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
10 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Chase Storm! The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Bruno Hogan and John Mangel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Down misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Storm.
Storm lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Down circles away quickly and effectively. Storm lunges at Down with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Down's hand. Down thows a body shot but no joy. Storm fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Chase Storm seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Down is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Down displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Storm throws out the jab. Down swings for the body but Storm moves out of range.

Storm clobbers Down with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. A punch lands to the side of Down 's head but he takes it in his stride. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Storm throws a right hand that Down ducks under and follows up with a left that Down also avoids with ease. A shot to the body from Down misses and Storm counters with a straight right hand. Storm lands with a shot to the body. Storm stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Storm connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Storm lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Down at a distance.

He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable. Good shot there by Storm. Chase Storm dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

A little nod from Down there as he acknowledges the shot. Nice cross by Storm. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Good standup being displayed there by Storm as he connects with a hook. Storm is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.
