Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Tristin Bonilla!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Islam Arshavin!
The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Jorge Garcia and Steve Montenegro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bonilla shoots in and bounces Arshavin off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Bonilla stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Arshavin swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Arshavin is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Bonilla pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Arshavin is keeping the position for now.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Arshavin pulls Bonilla in close to prevent any damage.
Bonilla wants to control from the top but Arshavin keeps moving.

Arshavin is controlling Bonilla's posture.
Bonilla trying to control the position from guard on top but Arshavin is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Bonilla drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Bonilla throwing ground and pound but whilst doing so, he forgets to control position and Arshavin works his way back to half guard. Good composure under pressure.

Bonilla throws a big elbow that misses, also allowing Arshavin to regain full guard.
Bonilla wants to stand but Arshavin is controlling his posture from full guard.

Bonilla wanted to stand there but Arshavin had control of the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Arshavin manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Bonilla manages to get himself to full guard.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Bonilla has momentary wrist control but Arshavin slips an elbow through the middle.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Arshavin works over Bonilla with some ground and pound from guard.
Arshavin wants to control from the top but Bonilla keeps moving.

Arshavin keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Bonilla's head.
Arshavin stands up over Bonilla, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Arshavin lands a couple of elbows.
Bonilla is rocked!
Arshavin chips away with some ground and pound.
Oh Bonilla is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Arshavin arches his back and unloads with a massive left and a right! Bonilla's eyes roll back into his head, he's out cold! The ref dives in to stop the fight - wow, they were hard shots!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Islam Arshavin!
