Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Gakus Amiga (ranked 23529 p4p, 23289 weight class) and Clifford Val Salvacion (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 60 - 76 - 9, fighting out of Las Vegas, Gakus Amiga! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 42 - 98 - 8, fighting out of Las Vegas, Clifford Val Salvacion! The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Stewart Dunkirk and Chris Downing.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Amiga shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Salvacion is trying to defend but Amiga finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Amiga thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Amiga thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Salvacion's head. Amiga thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Salvacion's head. Salvacion is controlling Amiga's position as best he can from this difficult position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Salvacion trying to hold on to Amiga's head to control him but Amiga postures up.
Amiga slows the pace down in half guard. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
 That's one minute gone in the round.
 The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. Salvacion shoots in for a takedown but Amiga shows good takedown defense. Amiga thinks about countering with a body kick.
Amiga drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Salvacion is trying to escape the position but Amiga is controlling the position.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Salvacion is looking to regain half guard here but Amiga keeps moving and retains side control. A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Salvacion struggling a bit here. Amiga content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Amiga has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
 The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Amiga shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Amiga engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Salvacion seems keen to control Amiga's posture. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Gakus Amiga dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Amiga shoots in looking for a takedown. Salvacion tries to sprawl out of it but Amiga keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Salvacion manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Amiga has his takedown stuffed
and Salvacion counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Salvacion.
 That's one minute gone in the round. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Amiga is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Salvacion content to stall in guard here. Gakus Amiga overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Salvacion trying to control the position from guard on top but Amiga is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Salvacion content to stall in guard here.
 The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Amiga shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Salvacion but Salvacion pushes him off and we're back to square one. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Gakus Amiga. That's going to take a lot out of him. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Amiga is defended easily by Salvacion.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Amiga. Salvacion is trying to counter with his kicks. Salvacion fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Amiga thinks about countering with a body kick. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Salvacion fails with a takedown attempt. Amiga thinks about countering with a body kick. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Clifford Val Salvacion showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Amiga. And Salvacion responds with a good body kick, but Amiga manages to step out the way in time. Salvacion tries to score a power double leg takedown but Amiga sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Salvacion somewhat. It appears Amiga was looking to counter with a kick there.
 That's one minute gone in the round. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Salvacion looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Salvacion controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Salvacion is continuing to stall.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Amiga wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. Salvacion postures up.
Amiga has control of Salvacion's left arm, preventing Salvacion from doing any damage. Salvacion controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
 That's three minutes gone in the round.
 The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Salvacion shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Amiga defends it nicely.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Amiga shoots for a double leg takedown but Salvacion sprawls well. He's pushed Amiga's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Amiga looks to throw a body kick
and Salvacion counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Amiga! Salvacion is looking to take a break and control but Amiga is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
And that's the end of the fight! Clifford Val Salvacion comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Salvacion has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
