Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ross Clay (ranked 4349 p4p, 4144 weight class) and Jouko Rautio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jouko Rautio will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Ross Clay!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jouko Rautio!
The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, James Glass and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rautio misses with a looping left.
Rautio scores with a nice right hand.
Clay shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Rautio as he avoids it easily.
Clay slips a jab from Rautio.
Clay ducks under a wild hook from Rautio.
Rautio tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Clay paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Rautio punishes Clay's body with a nice straight punch.
Clay moves into the clinch.
Rautio working hard to break the clinch.
Clay goes for a takedown in the clinch but Rautio prevents it.
Rautio prevents a body shot from Clay.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Clay breaks from the clinch.
Rautio throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Clay uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Rautio.
Rautio throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Clay on the side of the head.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Rautio misses with a hook.
Clay avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Clay walks into a jab.
Clay slips under a jab from Rautio.
Rautio tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Clay was well out of range. Poor timing from Rautio.
Rautio throws a good cross that connects.
Rautio moves into the clinch.
Rautio is struggling to control the position.
A short left from Rautio.
Rautio is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Rautio wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Clay has him pressed against the cage.
Clay is trying to drag Rautio to the mat but Rautio just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ross Clay. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Clay escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Clay staying out of range there.
Clay tries to clinch but Rautio moves out of range.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Rautio! But no joy.
Clay has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Clay there as he acknowledges the shot.
Rautio has Clay up against the cage in a clinch.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Clay breaks from the clinch.
Rautio might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
Rautio lands a slapping body shot.
Rautio just misses with a punch to the body.
Jouko Rautio is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Rautio pushes Clay up against the cage in a clinch.
A frustrated look appears on Rautio's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Clay tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Rautio smiles and moves away.
Clay ducks under a wild hook from Rautio.
Rautio closes the distance but Clay moves to the side
so Clay counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Rautio is looking to stand back up but Clay counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Rautio.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Rautio is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Rautio is trying to stand up here but Clay is controlling him well.

Clay is trying for a kimura here. Rautio looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Clay wins by kimura!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:51 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Ross Clay!
Ross Clay got down on his knees post fight and begged the management for a title shot. 'Please, I want that title shot so bad! Give it to me!'
