Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sparky Anderson (ranked 1716 p4p, 24283 weight class) and Dwight Shrute (ranked 205 p4p, 500 weight class). Anderson comes to the cage accompanied by Pick up man. Shrute is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Battlestart Galactica theme. On his way into the cage it seems that Sparky Anderson has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Sparky Anderson seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 51 - 31 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Sparky Anderson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 51 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Dwight Shrute!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Trevor Gratis and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shrute fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Anderson manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Shrute on his heels. He'll look to pass Shrute's guard now, I'm sure.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Anderson drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Anderson jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Anderson stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Shrute swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Shrute throws his legs up looking for a submission but Anderson uses it to pass to side control.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Anderson tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Anderson has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Anderson has hold of Shrute's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Shrute tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Anderson cranks the arm and Shrute screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Shrute, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Sparky Anderson!
Sparky Anderson looked relieved post fight as he said the following; 'It's great to be the new champion, thanks to all my team around me'.
