Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alexander Lebedev (ranked 2574 p4p, 2845 weight class) and Maddox Deleon (ranked 271 p4p, 292 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Alexander Lebedev!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Maddox Deleon!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Frank Dennis and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Deleon lands with a right hand.
A telegraphed right hand from Lebedev misses the target.
Deleon throws a right hand that misses
and Lebedev counters with a straight right hand.
Lebedev throws a leg kick that is checked
and Deleon counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Deleon is working Lebedev over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Deleon wants to pass the guard but Lebedev is keeping the position.

Deleon sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Lebedev's guard.
Lebedev's coaches at Berloga have been working on his defensive grappling in preparation for this fight so let's see if he can get out of this tricky position.

Deleon sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!
Deleon postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Lebedev looks a forlorn figure.
Deleon has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at Team Grunt. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Deleon cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Deleon prevents Lebedev from getting the reversal.
Deleon loads up with a big shot that hurts Lebedev! He's pulled Deleon in close but Deleon has postured up and lands more strikes. Can Lebedev survive? More strikes from Deleon and Lebedev is out! The ref jumps in to save him! Brutal ground and pound!

Maddox Deleon decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
