Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Chou Rico (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ramon Kistler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Chou Rico has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Chou Rico seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Chou Rico! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Ramon Kistler! The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Patrick Alders and Paulsen Ambrosius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A swing and a miss from Kistler. Kistler lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Kistler swats away the attempt to clinch by Rico. Rico shoots in looking for a takedown. Kistler tries to sprawl out of it but Rico keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Kistler manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Kistler fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Kistler tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Rico was well out of range. Poor timing from Kistler. A swing and a miss from Kistler. Rico really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Rico fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Kistler manages to avoid it. Kistler throws a sloppy body shot
and Rico counters with a takedown into side control. Kistler tries to bench press Rico off him but Rico keeps the position. Kistler is not content to let Rico control the position. Kistler is trying to improve his position. Kistler really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Rico. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kistler is not content to let Rico control the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Kistler is trying to improve his position. Kistler tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Rico presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount! Kistler is in all sorts of trouble here.
Kistler is squirming around, avoiding Rico's attempts to control the action.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Rico will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Kistler is working to get back to half guard.
Rico takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Kistler is looking to get to half guard. Rico can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Kistler is looking to escape. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Rico with good strikes from the mount here!

Kistler wants to control but Rico is having none of it. Kistler keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Kistler tries to improve his position but instead Rico has taken his back! Kistler can't escape the position.
Rico throws a big right hand but he misses and hits the mat. Ouch. Rico has the hooks in. Kistler is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted. Kistler rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.
Kistler wants to get back to full guard. Kistler looks gassed! The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Kistler shoots in but Rico avoids the takedown attempt easily. Kistler lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Rico circles away quickly and effectively. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Chou Rico dominated that round. That's time! Rico's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Rico fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Rico shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Kistler as he jumps to the side. Kistler fails to land with a series of punches.
Kistler swings for the body but Rico moves out of range.
Rico wants to clinch. Kistler ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Rico moves away. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kistler just misses with a punch to the body.

and Rico connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Kistler throws a good cross that connects.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Rico. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Chou Rico. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Kistler stuffs the takedown. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Rico dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Rico walks into a straight right hand from Kistler. Kistler looks to land a combination but Rico avoids it well. Rico fails in his attempt to clinch. Kistler throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Rico stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Rico looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. Kistler swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Kistler digs a right hand into Rico's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Rico's gas tank. Rico's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! Nice body punch from Kistler - that landed with a thud.
That's two minutes gone in the round. With the fighters clinched against the cage, Kistler creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Rico fails to pull guard.
Kistler wants to get back to striking at distance but Rico won't allow it.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Kistler can do anything to dispel that myth. Kistler gets back to full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rico wants to control from the top but Kistler keeps moving. Kistler not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Kistler throws a combination that misses and Rico counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Rico takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Kistler fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Kistler looks to land a left hand but Rico moved out of range nicely. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Rico misses with a takedown and Kistler counters with a three punch combo that has Rico backing up. Rico nods at Kistler to acknowledge the strikes. Kistler ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Rico moves away. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ramon Kistler showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!

Kistler throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Rico shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Rico working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Rico wants to pass the guard but Kistler is defending well.
