Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Dikkie Dirk!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Patrick Alders and Nard Betker.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dirk swats away the attempt to clinch by highrise.
highrise tries to clinch there but Dirk circles away.
Dirk stuns highrise with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
highrise shoots in but no luck this time.
jak highrise seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Dirk lands with a kick to the temple. highrise shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
It looks like jak highrise has been cut.
Dirk is looking to clinch but highrise is avoiding it.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from highrise.
Dirk looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!
highrise makes his way to full guard. A much better position for highrise.
Dirk gets to his feet - highrise follows without any prompting.

Dirk seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down highrise for as long as he can get away with.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Dirk accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Dirk wants to pass the guard but highrise is keeping the position.

Dirk creates some space and throws a big elbow, but highrise sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!
Dirk scores with a hook to the body. highrise takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Dirk looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
highrise wants to control but Dirk is keeping busy.
Dirk seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but highrise does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Dirk wants to stand but highrise has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.

Dirk working to pass to mount. He's got his hand pressing down on highrise's thigh. highrise counters though and makes it back to full guard.

highrise will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
highrise bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Dirk tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but highrise wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Dirk is working to avoid the ground and pound but highrise connects with a decent elbow.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
highrise wants to lay and pray for a moment but Dirk keeps working.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Dirk throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around highrise's waist but highrise gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Dirk off to one side.
highrise has Dirk up against the cage in a clinch.
highrise fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Dirk is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.
Dirk jumps guard but highrise stands there with Dirk around his waist. Dirk gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
highrise pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
highrise shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Dirk's guard.
Dirk wants to sweep here but highrise controlling him for the moment.

jak highrise comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
