Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Edmond Dantes (ranked 1081 p4p, 4551 weight class) and Dominik Dlask (ranked 118 p4p, 381 weight class). Edmond Dantes could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Dominik Dlask's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Edmond Dantes!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 22 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Dominik Dlask!
The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Yuuki Gou.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dlask shoots in and drives through. Dantes sprawls well.
Dlask shoots in looking for a takedown but Dantes manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Dlask's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Dantes waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Dlask.
Dlask showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Dantes.
Dlask keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Dlask closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Dantes to the mat! Dantes manages to get full guard.
Dlask working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Dlask accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Dlask throwing strikes from guard but Dantes blocks nicely.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Dantes keeping full guard, as Dlask tries to pass.
Dantes is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Dantes is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Dlask presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Dlask blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Dantes blocks an uppercut.
Dlask looking to slow down the pace here.
Dantes is trying to break the clinch but Dlask has him pressed against the cage.
Dantes misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Dantes pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Dlask fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Dantes avoids it really well and circles away.
Dantes is looking to counter with a shot to the body.
Edmond Dantes has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dominik Dlask.
Dlask closes this distance looking for a takedown but Dantes circles away.
Dantes looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Dlask misses with a takedown attempt - Dantes sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Dlask looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Dantes is fending him off so far but Dlask persists. Nope, Dantes circles away and we're back to standing.
Dlask defending well as Dantes loads up on a big left hand.
Dantes lands a big head kick that sends Dlask tumbling to the mat! Dantes takes a step backwards and waves Dlask back to his feet - he wants the finish!
That's two minutes gone in the round.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Dlask throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Dantes counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Dlask is rocked!
Dlask fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
It looked like Dantes wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Dlask is still on wobbly legs! Can Dantes finish him?
Dantes is throwing a storm of strikes! Right hook, left hook and follows it up with a spinning back fist! Dlask hits the canvas like a rag doll! And just like that, this one is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Edmond Dantes!
Edmond Dantes gave a mention to Nevermore Clothing Co in his post fight interview. That will please them (and hopefully generate some sales).
