Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Emile Sauvage (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Navorro Bowman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sauvage's entrance music is Chaos Is Me by Orchid. A fine choice. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Emile Sauvage! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Navorro Bowman! The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, George Francis and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sauvage misses with a straight left. Bowman takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Bowman throws a leg kick but Sauvage sees it coming and moves out of range. Sauvage throws a series of punches but Bowman moves out of range. Sauvage scores with a crisp jab that stopped Bowman in his tracks. Bowman closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Bowman lands in his opponent's guard. Bowman stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Sauvage swivels though and keeps the full guard. Bowman postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Bowman stopping the sweep attempt from Sauvage. Bowman looking to pass the guard. Bowman is looking to work some ground and pound but Sauvage has wrist control. Sauvage had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Bowman is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Sauvage Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Bowman's back instead.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bowman tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell! Bowman tries to hold on but Sauvage pushes him away. Bowman is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
Sauvage fails to advance to Bowman's back. Bowman is trying to escape the mount.
Sauvage throws some wild stikes that Bowman manages to avoid easily.
Bowman keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Bowman tries to hold on but Sauvage pushes him away. Bowman is working to get back to half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Sauvage fails to take his opponent's back. Bowman really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Sauvage content just to control the position here. Sauvage unloading with bombs! Sauvage goes for an armbar but Bowman turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Bowman. Bowman postures up.
Bowman wants to pass the guard but Sauvage is keeping the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Bowman accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Bowman is working Sauvage over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Bowman showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Sauvage is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Sauvage wants to sweep but no luck. Sauvage keeping full guard, as Bowman tries to pass. Sauvage tries to land a sweep but no joy. Sauvage lands a couple of decent looking body shots there.
Bowman wants to control from the top but Sauvage keeps moving.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Bowman stopping the sweep attempt from Sauvage. Bowman not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Bowman pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Sauvage is keeping the position for now.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Bowman scores with a takedown into Sauvage's guard. Sauvage is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Bowman throwing strikes from guard but Sauvage blocks nicely. Sauvage throws his legs up looking for a submission but Bowman uses it to pass to side control.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Emile Sauvage will probably get the nod. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Bowman shoots for a double leg takedown but Sauvage sprawls well. He's pushed Bowman's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Bowman shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Sauvage is trying to defend but Bowman finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Bowman sitting and controlling from the half guard. Bowman scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Bowman not landing any meaningful shots this time. Sauvage gets full guard. Bowman wants to pass the guard but Sauvage is keeping the position. Bowman throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Sauvage throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bowman wants to pass the guard but Sauvage is keeping the position. Sauvage preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Bowman passes Sauvage's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Sauvage tries to roll over but Bowman keeps him under control. Sauvage is trying to maintain the position but Bowman is very close to passing his half guard.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Bowman looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Sauvage looking for a sweep. Not yet Sauvage, not yet. Sauvage is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Sauvage escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Bowman gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Bowman landing with the ground and pound. Bowman scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Bowman's corner is telling him to maintain position. Sauvage wants to sweep but no luck. Sauvage is looking for a triangle here but Bowman uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
Bowman works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bowman trying to control the position but Sauvage is working away. Sauvage wants to get back to his feet. Bowman is putting a hurting on Sauvage here, landing some big shots from side control. Sauvage is looking for a sweep. Bowman prevents Sauvage from escaping the position. Sauvage struggling a bit here. Bowman grinds an elbow into Sauvage's temple.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Bowman throws the kick towards the body but Sauvage avoids it. Bowman slips under a jab from Sauvage. Sauvage misses with a takedown attempt and Bowman counters with a nice double leg into guard. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bowman sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Sauvage's guard. Sauvage has hold of Bowman's hands but Bowman slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Bowman tries to pass to full mount but Sauvage defends it. Bowman looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. The fighters are battling for position here. Sauvage manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Bowman wants to pass the guard but Sauvage is keeping the position. Sauvage keeping moving, preventing Bowman from controlling successfully. Bowman content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Navorro Bowman showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!
Sauvage blocks the body kick.
Sauvage looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Bowman shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Bowman was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Sauvage is looking to improve his position but Bowman isn't that keen on the idea. Bowman wants to control the pace but Sauvage is squirming around nicely. Bowman is landing with some decent strikes but Sauvage is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. Bowman sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Sauvage is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

That's one minute gone in the round. Bowman landing strikes, looking to finish! Sauvage tries to reverse the position but Bowman maintains control. Sauvage regains half guard. Bowman wants to control but Sauvage is keeping him busy. Sauvage keeping control of the leg, stopping his opponent passing to mount. Bowman throwing shots but Sauvage is blocking nicely. Bowman wants to take a breather but Sauvage is having none of it. Sauvage wants to get back to full guard. Bowman content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Bowman takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Bowman looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Sauvage slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Sauvage is trying to control the position but Bowman postures up. Bowman looking to sit in guard and control but Sauvage gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Bowman looking for a sweep. Not yet Bowman, not yet. Sauvage looking to pass the guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sauvage drops back, looking for a kneebar! Bowman looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Bowman looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Bowman! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Sauvage is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Bowman trying to control the action but Sauvage is working from the bottom. Bowman is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Sauvage will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Bowman is looking to take a break and control but Sauvage is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Sauvage manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. Sauvage is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Bowman pulls his head out easily. Bowman working Sauvage over with strikes. Bowman working the head and body with strikes. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Bowman performing his best blanket impression for a moment.
And that's the end of the fight! Navorro Bowman comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Bowman has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
