The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Volkov throws the left hand but Vieira avoids the punch easily.
Volkov throws a nice inside leg kick.
Volkov misses with a wild combination.
Bogdan Volkov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Volkov connects with an inside leg kick.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Vieira showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Volkov.

Volkov lands a nice hook to Vieira's body. Vieira takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Volkov fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Vieira has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Volkov throws a jab but it's blocked by Vieira.
Vieira tries to counter with a clinch but Volkov shakes him off and moves away.
Volkov tests Vieira's chin there with a solid looking shot.

Volkov throws a leg kick which misses Vieira's front leg but catches the back leg as Vieira tries to avoid it.

Volkov swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Volkov dips to his left and cracks Vieira with an uppercut!

Volkov fakes the body blow, causing Vieira to drop his hands! Left hook to the temple! Vieira goes stiff, and falls face first into the mat. Goodnight!
