Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sparky Anderson (ranked 1442 p4p, 2517 weight class) and Turner Crocop (ranked 172 p4p, 276 weight class). Anderson kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Pick up man. Crocop is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Cro Cop. Turner Crocop is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Anderson closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Anderson lands in his opponent's guard.
Anderson is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Anderson with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Anderson working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Anderson is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Anderson's corner is telling him to maintain position.

Anderson thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Anderson working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Crocop's head.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Crocop wants to stand up but Anderson is controlling him.
Anderson is pushing down on Crocop's leg trying to pass to half guard. Crocop is fighting to maintain full guard but Anderson has managed to sneak the leg through.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Anderson in particular looking to stall.
Crocop tries to kick Anderson off but Anderson keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Crocop looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Anderson frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Anderson throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Crocop has his hands clasped together but Anderson breaks the hold and Crocop is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Anderson!

An intense looking Sparky Anderson took to the microphone post fight and gave a little speech: 'It's great to be the new champion, thanks to all my team around me'.
