Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bruno Eriksson (ranked 949 p4p, 582 weight class) and Akira Sato (ranked 120 p4p, 77 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

Eriksson shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.

Eriksson looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Eriksson seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Sato does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Eriksson wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Sato, who protects the arm well.

Eriksson is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Sato is trying to escape and Eriksson transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Sato is forced to tap! Nice work there by Eriksson! Very nice indeed!
