Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Glen Quagmire (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shin Sato (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sato has chosen Thunderstruck as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Glen Quagmire!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Shin Sato!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Alan Glass and Stewart Dunkirk.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick misses from Sato.

Quagmire shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Quagmire is taking a breather. Sato says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Quagmire thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Sato's head.

Quagmire drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Sato manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Quagmire has Sato in his guard.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Sato plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!

Quagmire shoots in for a takedown but Sato shows good takedown defense.
Sato throws a shot from downtown. Quagmire moves away and avoids it.

Quagmire tries to clinch up but Sato circles away and keeps his distance.

Quagmire drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Sato dives on top into guard.

Shin Sato showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
