Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 20 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Tanner Tyler!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Vlomvamirborealis Smegagomedov!
The judges for this bout are Chris Dean, Winston Howard and Bruno Hogan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tyler thows a leg kick but Smegagomedov checks it
and Smegagomedov counters with a shoot takedown. Tyler fights it but they end up in guard.
Tyler could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Tyler wants to get back to his feet but Smegagomedov is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Smegagomedov landing some decent shots from guard.
Smegagomedov prevents Tyler from getting back to his feet.
Smegagomedov stands up and waves to Tyler to follow him.
Smegagomedov closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Tyler wants to stand back up but Smegagomedov manages to pass into side control.
Tyler knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Smegagomedov on the ground.
Smegagomedov is working to tighten his grip on Tyler's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Tyler has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Smegagomedov is really squeezing tight and eventually Tyler passes out! Smegagomedov breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
