Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 18 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Djordje Stankovic!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 12 - 0, fighting out of New York, Okoro Igwe!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Chris Downing and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Igwe lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Igwe fails with a takedown attempt.
Okoro Igwe seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Stankovic jabs Igwe to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Igwe throws a jab but it's blocked by Stankovic.
A little feinted left hand from Stankovic on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Stankovic jabs Igwe right on the nose. Igwe blinks but takes it well.
Igwe misses with a shot to the body
and Stankovic counters with a crisp right hand that drops Igwe! Stankovic lets Igwe back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Stankovic throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Igwe throws a hook to the side of Stankovic's head but Stankovic sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Good standup being displayed there by Igwe as he connects with a hook.
A telegraphed right hand from Igwe misses the target.
Igwe throws a lazy uppercut
and Stankovic counters with a crisp right hand that drops Igwe! Stankovic lets Igwe back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
Igwe is rocked!

Igwe swings widly with a right hand
and Stankovic counters with a huge right that knocks Igwe out cold! Stankovic is running around with a crazed look on his face - you can see how much that meant to him!

Djordje Stankovic was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
