Shimada tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Ecker defends well and Shimada ends up having to push Ecker into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Shimada drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Ecker gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Shimada tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Shimada has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
