Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Lasha Kvaratskhelia (ranked 1603 p4p, 2519 weight class) and Will Bond (ranked 127 p4p, 168 weight class). Bond has chosen The Notorious B.I.G., Bone Thugs-N-Harmony - Notorious Thugs as his entrance music. Will Bond has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 9 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Lasha Kvaratskhelia! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Will Bond! The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, William Gold and James Atkins.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bond scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Kvaratskhelia is trying to get back to half guard.
Bond thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Bond working away. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kvaratskhelia is looking to regain half guard here but Bond keeps moving and retains side control. Bond wants to lay and pray for a moment but Kvaratskhelia keeps working. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kvaratskhelia is trying to get back to half guard.
 That's one minute gone in the round. You can see the frustration on Kvaratskhelia's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Bond is trying to get an arm triangle but Kvaratskhelia is defending well.
Bond tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Bond has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Kvaratskhelia sneaks back into half guard. Kvaratskhelia is looking to improve his position.
Bond is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Kvaratskhelia reverses the position - he's now on top in Bond's guard.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Bond is controlling Kvaratskhelia's posture. Kvaratskhelia trying to control the position from guard on top but Bond is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Bond is trying to keep Kvaratskhelia in close.
Bond has his foot on Kvaratskhelia's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Kvaratskhelia works his way back into a safe position though.
Kvaratskhelia drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Kvaratskhelia jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Kvaratskhelia looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio. Kvaratskhelia keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Bond's head. Bond looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Kvaratskhelia scoring with punches to the head and body. Bond trying to control the position.

Bond has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Kvaratskhelia can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Kvaratskhelia throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Bond works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Kvaratskhelia cracks Bond with a solid left hand. Kvaratskhelia scoring with punches to the head and body. Kvaratskhelia might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Bond pulls Kvaratskhelia in to control the position. Kvaratskhelia trying to control the position from guard on top but Bond is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Bond wants to sweep here but Kvaratskhelia controlling him for the moment.

Kvaratskhelia missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Kvaratskhelia is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Bond preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Bond working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Kvaratskhelia doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Kvaratskhelia manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Kvaratskhelia is looking to work some ground and pound but Bond has wrist control. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Kvaratskhelia is working Bond over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Kvaratskhelia wants to control from the top but Bond keeps moving. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Will Bond will probably get the nod. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Bond fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Kvaratskhelia to the ground. Bond is now in Kvaratskhelia's guard. Kvaratskhelia looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

Kvaratskhelia slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Bond trying to control but Kvaratskhelia is working from the bottom. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bond is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully. Bond stands and throws Kvaratskhelia's legs to the side, diving into side control.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Kvaratskhelia tries to improve position but can't. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Bond is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Kvaratskhelia looks calm but he's in trouble here. Bond gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Kvaratskhelia is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Bond lets go of the hold and Kvaratskhelia can pop his arm back in it's socket.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:28 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Will Bond! A relieved looking Will Bond thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
