The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice uppercut lands for Shelbey. That snapped Perera's head back.
It looks like Indio Perera has been cut.
Perera swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Perera throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Perera wants to clinch
enabling Shelbey to counter with a crisp jab.
Shelbey slips a jab and a cross from Perera.

Perera tries to clinch but Shelbey moves out of range.

Perera definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Indio Perera seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Shelbey's coach down at Royal Combat Academy was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Shelbey's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
