Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Sum Ting (ranked 4031 p4p, 4100 weight class) and Allan Santos (ranked 370 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Sum Ting! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Allan Santos! The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Kenichi Hosakawa and Shirou Masuda.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Horrible takedown attempt by Santos or perhaps it was just good defense by Ting, which made it look bad. A head kick misses from Santos. Ting looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. Santos will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Santos looks for the body kick but Ting saw that one coming.
Ting bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Santos wants to get back to his feet. Santos is looking to regain half guard here but Ting keeps moving and retains side control. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Santos stops Ting from passing to mount. Ting knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Santos on the ground. Santos is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Ting is controlling him well.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Santos regains half guard. Santos keeping control of the leg, stopping his opponent passing to mount. Santos is looking to escape. Santos manages to get to full guard.
Ting wants to get up but he can't break Santos's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Santos keeping moving, preventing Ting from controlling successfully.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Ting is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
 The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Santos moves into the clinch successfully.
Santos is trying to drag Ting to the mat but Ting just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Sum Ting has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Allan Santos. Santos jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Ting walks away with a smile on his face. Santos gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

 That's three minutes gone in the round. Santos slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Ting has his hands on Santos's head, controlling the position. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Santos accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Ting on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Ting tries to get out of the position.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Ting looking for a guillotine here but Santos defends easily.
Ting is trying to control the position from the bottom.
 The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Santos closes the distance and clinches. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Santos tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Ting avoids it. Santos avoids a wild elbow strike from Ting. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Allan Santos dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Santos throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Ting. Ting takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Ting dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Santos shoots in for a takedown but Ting shows good takedown defense.
Ting gets caught flat footed, as Santos shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Santos stops Ting from standing up. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Santos pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Ting is keeping the position for now. Santos distracts Ting with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Santos wants to stand but Ting has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Ting has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. Santos throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Ting works some decent striking defense from the bottom. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Santos working some strikes from top position. Santos wants to control from the top but Ting keeps moving. Santos with a flurry of punches that miss.
 The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Ting fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Santos avoids it really well and circles away.
Ting shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Ting showed some decent athleticism there. Santos gets full guard. Ting trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Ting wants to get up but he can't break Santos's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Santos not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Santos is trying to control the position but Ting postures up. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Santos is looking to stand up but Ting isn't so interested in that idea.
 The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.
Santos bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Santos trying to control the position but Ting is working away. Ting wants to control but Santos postures up. Santos advances to mount.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Santos thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage.
Santos with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Ting tries to get back to half guard but can't. Santos controlling the position easily from mount. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Ting is trying to escape the mount.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Allan Santos showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. And we move into the final round!
Santos tries for a takedown but Ting sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Ting throws out a leg kick but Santos moves out of range and Ting only half commits. Santos misses with a takedown attempt
so Ting counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Santos has his feet on Ting's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work. Santos fails with a takedown attempt. Ting throws a big counter combination but Santos scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage. Sum Ting has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Allan Santos.
Ting manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Santos on his heels. He'll look to pass Santos's guard now, I'm sure. This has been an exciting period of action!
Ting got a little sloppy there for a moment and Santos has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Ting has managed to get both his arms back between Santos's legs - danger averted. Santos takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Santos is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Ting is controlling him.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Santos lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.
Ting is controlling Santos's posture. Santos wants to pass the guard but Ting is keeping the position.
Ting looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Santos trying to control but Ting is working from the bottom. Allan Santos has got the better of the ground game so far.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Santos passes Ting's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Ting actively working from the bottom here. Ting is trying to get back to full guard. Ting wants to control but Santos is keeping busy and won't allow it.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Santos frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Santos lands a heavy elbow.
Santos has hold of Ting's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Ting manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Santos controlling the pace for now. Ting looking to escape from mount but he's given up his back!
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Santos lands a shot to the body. Ting rolls, trying to escape but Santos keeps control of the position.
Santos controlling the position well here. Ting rolled but Santos kept the hooks locked in and stayed in the dominant position.
Ting tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell! The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Santos trying to control but Ting is having none of it.
And that's the end of the fight! Allan Santos comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Santos winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
