Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ed Gein (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kurt Wagner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wagner is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Cowboys from Hell. Kurt Wagner has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Ed Gein!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Kurt Wagner!
The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Aafke Stam and Radbod Blank.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gein fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Gein scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!

and Gein counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Gein wants to stand up but Wagner is controlling the position.
Wagner tries to roll over but Gein keeps him under control.
Gein wants to pass to mount but Wagner is defending the position.
Gein seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Wagner does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Wagner is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Gein pulls his head out easily.
Gein is trying to control. Wagner wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

It looks like Kurt Wagner has been cut.

Gein escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Gein moves into range and clinches up with Wagner.
Wagner tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Gein has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Wagner clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!

Gein has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Wagner's body.
Gein seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Wagner for as long as he can get away with.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Gein remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
