Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Elton Sparks!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Lucaerys Strong!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, William Peck and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sparks jabs Strong right on the nose. Strong blinks but takes it well.
It looks like Lucaerys Strong has been cut.
Strong cracks Sparks with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Strong has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Sparks to stand back up!
It looks like Elton Sparks has been cut.
Sparks feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Strong sprawling to the canvas! Strong rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Sparks finish him?!
Strong is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Strong get stunned by a cross and takes another one on the button. Strong stumbles backwards and tries to bounce back off the cage but Sparks runs in and jumps on him with a leaping lead hook that puts him out! Wow, that was highlight reel stuff! Awesome finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:17 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Elton Sparks!
Elton Sparks decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
