Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, William Wallace!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Koji Katsuhito!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Gregory Folan and Elvis Blanc.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wallace misses with a lunging right hand
and Katsuhito counters with a straight right hand.
Katsuhito rushes in with a sloppy looking punch

and Wallace counters with a nice double leg into side control. Katsuhito won't be happy with that.

Wallace is trying to get an arm triangle but Katsuhito is defending well.
Wallace wants to control for a moment but Katsuhito uses the opportunity to move back to half guard.
Wallace wants to free his trapped foot but Katsuhito is holding on for dear life with his legs.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Wallace is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Katsuhito doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Wallace.

Wallace is trying to work for a kimura but Katsuhito is defending well.

Wallace is looking to advance position but Katsuhito won't allow it.

Katsuhito is defending against the submission attempts here by Wallace.
Katsuhito keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
The fighters are battling for position here. Katsuhito manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Wallace trying to control the position from guard on top but Katsuhito is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Wallace works a leg free and moves into half guard.

Wallace looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Katsuhito desperately trying to maintain half guard.

Wallace is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Katsuhito defends it well.
Wallace wants to control but Katsuhito is keeping him busy.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Wallace is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Katsuhito is trying to get back to full guard.

Wallace is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Katsuhito has managed to free his arm - good work.

Wallace is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.

Wallace is working for a submission of some sort.
Katsuhito is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Wallace's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Wallace's back!

Wallace is really stuck here.

Katsuhito working for the rear naked choke here. He's got one arm under but Wallace is defending well. A couple of punches soften him up though and Katsuhito has tightened the hold! This one could be all over! It is! Wallace taps out!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Koji Katsuhito!
Koji Katsuhito spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
