Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Serwacy Smolarek (ranked 528 p4p, 1131 weight class) and Cameron McNab (ranked 69 p4p, 141 weight class). Smolarek comes to the cage accompanied by No Easy Way Out. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 16 - 8 - 0, fighting out of New York, Serwacy Smolarek! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Cameron McNab! The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Ren Mimura and Kenichi Hosakawa.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! McNab fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Smolarek manages to avoid it. Smolarek misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from McNab.
McNab tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Smolarek was well out of range. Poor timing from McNab. Smolarek defends well against a solid takedown attempt from McNab. Smolarek throws a right and a left that both miss. McNab drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Smolarek defends it well. A clash of legs there as McNab blocks the low kick.
McNab drives through with a takedown into Smolarek's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. McNab looking to sit in guard and control but Smolarek gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Smolarek would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. McNab looking for a sweep. Not yet McNab, not yet. Smolarek wants to stand but McNab is controlling his posture from full guard. McNab trying to keep a closed guard but Smolarek is proving a slippery customer.
 That's one minute gone in the round. McNab looking to sweep here. No luck so far. McNab has a closed guard, preventing Smolarek from standing up. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Smolarek preventing the sweep. McNab pulls Smolarek in close to his closed guard and prevents Smolarek from doing any damage or advancing position. Smolarek is looking to stand up but McNab won't let him. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Smolarek stopping the sweep attempt from McNab.
 The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. McNab tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Smolarek defends well and McNab ends up having to push Smolarek into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Smolarek swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. Smolarek looks to throw the jab but McNab is out of range. McNab throws a body shot but no joy. Smolarek just misses with a punch to the body.

McNab scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. McNab stuns Smolarek with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. We've been told by Smolarek's head coaches at Punishing Division that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. McNab throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Smolarek lunges at McNab with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by McNab's hand. McNab swings and misses with a hook to the body.
McNab lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Smolarek at a distance.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Smolarek throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
McNab with the counter takedown but Smolarek avoids it easily. Smolarek misses with a straight left. McNab feints the counter takedown. Smolarek scores with a head kick. McNab tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time. McNab misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Smolarek.
Smolarek appears to be looking for a big counter. Smolarek stuffs the takedown. Serwacy Smolarek has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Cameron McNab. McNab steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Smolarek. McNab keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
McNab changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt. Smolarek throws a body shot but no joy. McNab throws out a powerful jab. McNab moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. McNab fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Smolarek manages to avoid it. Serwacy Smolarek is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Smolarek keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Smolarek swings for the body but McNab moves out of range.
McNab tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away. Smolarek is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches. Smolarek throws a hook to the side of McNab's head but McNab sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. McNab misses with a body shot
enabling Smolarek to counter with a crisp jab. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Smolarek drops McNab with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but McNab looks back up at him and smiles so Smolarek waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
 McNab is rocked!
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Smolarek changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. McNab is still on wobbly legs! Can Smolarek finish him?
McNab throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Smolarek tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. McNab is in Smolarek's guard.
Smolarek manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage. Smolarek misses with a hook to the ribs.
Smolarek prevents a takedown attempt there.
Smolarek breaks the clinch.
McNab avoids the body shot from Smolarek.
Smolarek lands a big head kick that sends McNab to the canvas! Smolarek follows up with strikes from the mount that forces the ref to step in and stop the fight!
