This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the bantamweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of London, with a TWGC record of 7 wins and 6 losses; Paul Crewe! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Montreal, with a TWGC record of 7 wins and 5 losses; Dram Macallan!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Frank Antenori and Percy O'Donnell.


The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way.
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.

Crewe clinches.
Crewe gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Macallan.

Crewe ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Crewe no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Macallan won't allow Crewe to sweep him here.

Crewe is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Macallan is aware though and is defending well.

Crewe has his foot on Macallan's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Macallan works his way back into a safe position though.

Macallan takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Macallan holds on and takes a little breather.
