Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between David Hasselhoff (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Clay Faber (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). David Hasselhoff has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, David Hasselhoff!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Clay Faber!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, George Francis and Chris Downing.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hasselhoff misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Faber shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Hasselhoff pinned against the cage. Hasselhoff gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

so Faber counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Faber wants to control from the top but Hasselhoff keeps moving.

Hasselhoff has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Faber off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
David Hasselhoff seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Faber swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Hasselhoff is now in Faber's guard. A big mistake from Faber there, giving up the dominant position!

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!


Faber with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Hasselhoff to score with a decent uppercut.
Hasselhoff really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Hasselhoff changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Faber tries to avoid it but Hasselhoff manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Faber to the ground. Faber escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Faber has his foot on Hasselhoff's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Hasselhoff works his way back into a safe position though.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Hasselhoff's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Hasselhoff duly obliges.
Hasselhoff throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Clay Faber is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Faber throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
letting Hasselhoff counter with a right hand.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to David Hasselhoff.
Well Faber has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
