Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Gakus Amiga (ranked 23501 p4p, 23485 weight class) and Helen Salvacion (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 61 - 78 - 9, fighting out of Las Vegas, Gakus Amiga!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 60 - 79 - 11, fighting out of Las Vegas, Helen Salvacion!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Stewart Dunkirk and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Salvacion steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Amiga. That one must have hurt.
Amiga shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Salvacion counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Salvacion's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Let's hope that Salvacion has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Amiga looking to hit a scissor sweep but Salvacion is one step ahead there.

Well Amiga has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
