Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Agbay Amiga (ranked 23217 p4p, 23365 weight class) and Rico Salvacion (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 69 - 71 - 8, fighting out of Las Vegas, Agbay Amiga! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 64 - 78 - 9, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rico Salvacion! The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Cecil Peabody and Alan Glass.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Amiga gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Amiga holds on and takes a little breather. Salvacion wants to control from the top but Amiga keeps moving. Amiga controlling the position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Amiga looking to hit a scissor sweep but Salvacion is one step ahead there.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Amiga is pulling down on Salvacion's head to control his posture. Salvacion showing good wrestling skills to control the position.
 The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Salvacion gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Amiga counters with a nice low kick that buckles Salvacion's knee momentarily. Salvacion misses with a takedown attempt - Amiga sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. It appears Amiga was looking to counter with a kick there.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Salvacion shoots in looking for a takedown but Amiga manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Salvacion's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Amiga is looking to counter with a body kick. Agbay Amiga has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rico Salvacion. Amiga leaves Salvacion with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Amiga throws a quick counter kick to the body but Salvacion avoids it. Salvacion misses with an attempted mid kick.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Amiga fails with a takedown attempt. Salvacion takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Amiga feints and as Salvacion raises his hands in defense, Amiga changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Amiga is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Amiga tries to stand but Salvacion is controlling from the bottom. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Agbay Amiga dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Amiga stuffs the takedown. It appears Amiga was looking to counter with a kick there. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Salvacion.
Amiga decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Salvacion wants to get back to full guard but Amiga has mounted him!
 That's one minute gone in the round. Salvacion can't escape the position.
Amiga controlling from the full mount. Amiga is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Salvacion can do to turn this around? Salvacion tries to lock up and control but Amiga gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Amiga controlling from mount.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Amiga avoids the attempt from Salvacion to control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Salvacion is wriggling around trying to escape.
Amiga content just to control the position here.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Salvacion wants to hold on but Amiga pushes him away. Amiga sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Amiga avoids the attempt from Salvacion to control. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Agbay Amiga dominated that second round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

and Amiga counters with a nice double leg into guard. Amiga wants to stand but Salvacion is controlling his posture from full guard. Amiga seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Salvacion looking to hit a scissor sweep but Amiga is one step ahead there. Amiga's corner is telling him to maintain position. Amiga wanted to stand there but Salvacion had control of the position. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Amiga is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
 The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Amiga stuffs the takedown.
Salvacion shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Salvacion takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Salvacion not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Amiga tries to roll over but Salvacion keeps him under control. Salvacion is thwarting Amiga's attempts to control the position. Amiga is positioning himself well to prevent Salvacion advancing to mount. Salvacion slows the pace down in half guard. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
 The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Rico Salvacion has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Agbay Amiga is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Salvacion looks for a takedown but Amiga sprawls well. Amiga throws a quick counter kick to the body but Salvacion avoids it.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Agbay Amiga. Well Amiga has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
