Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Yugo Sawamura!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Amory Ludovika!
The judges for this bout are Vladimir Khabensky, Ivan Kurochkin and Sergei Dronov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sawamura on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Sawamura tries to close the distance and clinch up but Ludovika swats him away and circles back towards the center.
A punch combination from Ludovika misses.
Sawamura throws a combination. Ludovika tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Sawamura is trying hard to land a takedown here. Ludovika sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Ludovika misses with a double jab.
Sawamura throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Ludovika lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Sawamura backs up against the cage.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Sawamura shoots in for a double leg but Ludovika sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
A little jabbing left from Ludovika on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Sawamura throws a body shot but no joy.
Sawamura walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Ludovika closes the distance and clinches.
Ludovika breaks the clinch.
The fight stays on the outside here - Sawamura looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Sawamura tries to score a power double leg takedown but Ludovika sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Sawamura somewhat.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Yugo Sawamura. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Ludovika rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Sawamura moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Amory Ludovika is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Sawamura throws a wild hook but Ludovika just manages to duck under it and - ooooh! Sawamura gets nailed by a brutal uppercut which crumples him back against the cage! The referee jumps in - Ludovika raises his hands in celebration and walks away!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:11 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Amory Ludovika!
