The judges for this bout are Fedor Mirinova, Ivan Kurochkin and Aleksandr Martynov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Martinusic lands a glancing blow to the side of Khabilov's head.
Martinusic uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Khabilov has time to react.
Donk. Martinusic catches Khabilov right on the button with a cross.
Nice straight punches there by Martinusic. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Martinusic.
It looks like Ruslan Khabilov has been cut.
Martinusic misses with the combination.
Khabilov gets the takedown into side control.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Martinusic holds on tight, trying to prevent any damage.
Khabilov tries for a kimura but Martinusic is defending well.
Martinusic avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Khabilov.
Martinusic is trying to control Khabilov's posture but Khabilov avoids it.
Khabilov wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Martinusic, who protects the arm well.

Khabilov trying to control the action but Martinusic is working from the bottom.
Martinusic is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Martinusic wants to control but Khabilov is keeping busy.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Martinusic is looking for a sweep. Khabilov is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Martinusic is controlling Khabilov's position as best he can from this difficult position.
Martinusic trying to hold on to Khabilov's head to control him but Khabilov postures up.
Martinusic avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Khabilov.
Khabilov is looking to take a break and control but Martinusic is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters, thinking about a standup.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Martinusic keeping hold of Khabilov's head, controlling as best he can.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

Martinusic defending well as Khabilov loads up on a big left hand.
Martinusic connects with a right hand. Khabilov shakes it off.
Martinusic's jab looks to have found its range, popping Khabilov under the eye.
Martinusic comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Khabilov misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Martinusic! But no joy.
Khabilov gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Martinusic gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Khabilov is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!
