Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Gaston Joris!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Tracy Tracey!
The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Sergei Dronov and Fedor Mirinova.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A lazy left from Joris finds it's target.
Tracey swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Joris throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Joris lunges at Tracey with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Tracey's hand.
Tracey scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Tracey slips under a jab.
Tracey is looking for the big counter here.
Tracey looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Tracey moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Tracey throws a right and a left that both miss.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Tracey dives in and grabs Joris's left leg, looking for a takedown. Joris pushes down on Tracey's head and hops out.
Tracey on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Joris looks to score with a jab to the body but Tracey is just out of range.
Joris scores with a hook.
Tracey misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Joris scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Tracey swings widly with a right hand
enabling Joris to counter with a crisp jab.
Tracey falls off balance throwing a combination
and Joris counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Tracey misses with a lunging right hand
and Joris counters with a straight right hand.
Tracey steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Joris.
Joris fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Tracey manages to avoid it.
Tracey misses with a wild body shot.
Joris is looking to counter punch.
Jab, jab by Joris - just one landing.
Tracey takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Tracey looks to land a left hand but Joris moved out of range nicely.
Tracey misses with a double jab
and Joris counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Tracey is rocked!
Tracey looks winded!
Joris lands a brutal uppercut that launches Tracey off his feet! Tracey tumbles to the floor, barely conscious - the referee jumps in to save him from a beating! Wow, what an ending!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:44 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Gaston Joris!
After winning the bout, Gaston Joris thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
