Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Rodney Farva!
The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Trevor Gratis and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Farva takes one to the chin there.
Farva feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Farva accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Farva has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Farva with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Farva throwing strikes from guard but Harper blocks nicely.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Farva arches his back and unloads with a massive left and a right! Harper's eyes roll back into his head, he's out cold! The ref dives in to stop the fight - wow, they were hard shots!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Rodney Farva!
