Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Breno Belmiro (ranked 1237 p4p, 1401 weight class) and Minerva Wulf (ranked 106 p4p, 127 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Wulf's choice of entrance music: Sanctus Dominus. Breno Belmiro has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 6 - 1, fighting out of New York, Breno Belmiro!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 28 - 22 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Minerva Wulf!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Elvis Blanc and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wulf throws a hook but Belmiro blocks it.
Belmiro looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Belmiro gets tackled into the cage by Wulf. Wulf maintains the clinch.
Belmiro lands a body punch in the clinch.
Belmiro tries to pull guard but Wulf won't allow it.
Belmiro lands a right hand.

Belmiro is trying to pull guard but Wulf has him pressed against the cage.
Wulf is fighting off a takedown attempt but Belmiro is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Wulf to the mat. Wulf regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

Wulf bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Belmiro's guard.

Wulf stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Belmiro swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Wulf tries to lock up and control but Belmiro gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Wulf enables Belmiro to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Wulf manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.

Belmiro works Wulf's body with a nice hook.
Belmiro feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Belmiro loads up on a big left hand. Wulf felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Belmiro looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Wulf can't hide his disappointment, as Belmiro celebrates the victory.
