Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chad Hunter (ranked 1990 p4p, 3874 weight class) and Plugger Dukes (ranked 225 p4p, 380 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 7 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Chad Hunter! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 3 - 6 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Plugger Dukes! The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Frank Antenori and Percy O'Donnell.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dukes misses with a combination
and Hunter counters with a left and a right that stings Dukes. Hunter connects with a solid leg kick. Hunter uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Dukes.
Dukes gets caught napping as Hunter dives in and scores a takedown. Dukes manages to retain guard. Hunter lands a couple of elbows. Dukes is trying to control the position from the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hunter is in close to Dukes's body, working some short punches and elbows.
 Dukes is rocked! Hunter not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Hunter is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Hunter scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Dukes is still in real trouble! Can Hunter finish him? Hunter throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Dukes works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Dukes seems to have recovered his senses. Hunter is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Dukes preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Hunter scoring with some ground and pound. Hunter postures up in Dukes's guard and throws a big left but Dukes blocks it. Hunter postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Hunter has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Dukes preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Dukes looking to hit a scissor sweep but Hunter is one step ahead there. Hunter missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Dukes working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Hunter. Hunter lands a couple of digs. Hunter throws a big elbow that misses. Hunter content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Hunter looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Hunter's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Dukes looks winded! Hunter postures up in Dukes's guard and throws a big left but Dukes blocks it.  That's three minutes gone in the round. Hunter working some strikes from top position. Hunter makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Hunter postures up, still in guard. A huge hammer fist lands that bounces Dukes's head off the mat! Dukes is out! He's out! Hunter jumps to his feet and celebrates with his corner!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Chad Hunter! Chad Hunter bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
