The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
St. Georges bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
St. Georges wants to lay and pray for a moment but Gibson keeps working.
Gibson felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.
St. Georges swings around for an armbar but Gibson sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into St. Georges's guard.

Brody Gibson tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
