Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Maxwell Mullins (ranked 4451 p4p, 5218 weight class) and Zi Yang (ranked 391 p4p, 421 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Mullins might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Take Me Out - Franz Ferdinand. Maxwell Mullins has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mullins looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Mullins gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Mullins blocks an uppercut.
Mullins drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Yang gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Yang tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Mullins tries to pull guard but Yang won't allow it.
Mullins tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Yang smiles and moves away.

Mullins has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

and Yang comes in over the top with a devastating right hand! Mullins stumbles back against the cage, looking to regain his senses but Yang is on him like rabid pit bull! Mullins slumps to the ground under a storm of punches and this fight is over!
