Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Beckett Stone (ranked 4678 p4p, 4047 weight class) and Brett Reilly (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Beckett Stone!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Brett Reilly!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fray, Micheangelo Fripello and Paul Gruel.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Stone has closed the distance and engaged Reilly in a clinch.
Reilly tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Stone throws a punch but it's blocked by Reilly.
Reilly is trying to pull guard but Stone has him pressed against the cage.
The referee calls for Reilly to work.
Stone tries to throw a body punch but Reilly avoids it by throwing Stone back against the cage.
Reilly tries to land a knee to the head but Stone blocks with his arms.

Reilly gets control of Stone's arms and successfully pulls guard. Reilly will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Reilly manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Stone manages to get himself to full guard.

Stone keeping moving, preventing Reilly from controlling successfully.
Stone on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Stone tries to get out of the position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Reilly throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Reilly accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Stone has momentary wrist control but Reilly slips an elbow through the middle.

Stone wants to stand and escape but Reilly is having none of it.
Reilly postures up in Stone's guard and throws a big left but Stone blocks it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Stone keeping moving, preventing Reilly from controlling successfully.
Reilly is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.
Reilly trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Reilly throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Reilly won't allow Stone to get back to his feet.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

Reilly closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Reilly breaks from the clinch.
Stone lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Reilly fails with a takedown attempt.

Stone has taken the fight to the clinch.
Stalling in the clinch from Stone.
Reilly blocks a body shot from Stone.
Reilly tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Stone avoids it.
Stone misses with some punches.
Stone scores with a shot to the side of Reilly's head.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Reilly is working for takedown but Stone is calmly controlling the position for now.
Beckett Stone has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Brett Reilly.
The referee is keeping an eye on Stone - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Reilly is trying to pull guard but Stone has him pressed against the cage.
Stone tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Stone blocking some punches.
Reilly jumps guard but Stone turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Reilly is looking to control Stone's arms but Stone gets an underhook and turns him. Now Reilly has his back to the cage.
Stone lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Reilly is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Stone gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

Reilly manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.

Stone gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Stone connects with a crisp jab.
Reilly with a lazy takedown attempt
and Stone counters with a two punch combo.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Reilly shoots in looking for a takedown. Stone tries to sprawl out of it but Reilly keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Stone manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Reilly closes the distance and clinches up with Stone, looking for a takedown. Reilly pushes Stone against the cage but Stone circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Reilly misses with a takedown attempt - Stone sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Stone uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Reilly has time to react.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Reilly ducks right into an uppercut from Stone.
Stone throws a low kick, looking for Reilly's leg but Reilly calmly moves out of range.

Reilly decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Reilly not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Reilly throws a strike but Stone avoids it easily and moves to full guard.
Reilly looking to sit in guard and control but Stone gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Reilly is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Beckett Stone dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Stone misses with a jab, cross combination.

and Stone counters with a three punch combo that has Reilly backing up. Reilly nods at Stone to acknowledge the strikes.
Reilly fails with the takedown.
Beckett Stone has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Brett Reilly.
Stone dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Reilly shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Stone as he jumps to the side.
Stone lands a jab to Reilly's midsection.

Reilly forces Stone back against the cage and clinches.
Still in the clinch, Stone scores with a nice short uppercut.

Reilly jumps into guard, dragging Stone to the mat.
Stone has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Reilly is working an open guard so Stone takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Stone scores with a jab to the jaw.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Stone moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Reilly tries to score a power double leg takedown but Stone sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Reilly somewhat.
Stone is looking to counter punch.
Stone jabs at Reilly's body.
Stone scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Stone slaps away a takedown attempt from Reilly, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Stone was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Reilly shoots in and drives through. Stone sprawls well.
Reilly is breathing heavily.
Stone lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Reilly circles away quickly and effectively.
Stone lands a jab-cross combination.

Reilly is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Reilly shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Stone as he avoids it easily.
Reilly goes for a double leg but Stone avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Stone continues to drive forward.

Stone cracks Reilly with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Reilly looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away� can Stone finish him?
Reilly is still on wobbly legs! Can Stone finish him?

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Reilly shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Stone sprawls well. Stone wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Reilly gets slowly back to his feet.
Stone throwing a counter right hand but Reilly manages to avoid it.
Stone takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Stone shakes his hands by his side, trying to relax. Reilly takes his eyes off the ball for a moment - Stone sees the opportunity and cracks him with a massive hook! Reilly bends double and collapses on top of himself - he's out! The crowd are going absolutely nuts! Wow, what a knockout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:24 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Beckett Stone!
