Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Higanti Libat (ranked 23188 p4p, 23484 weight class) and Gakus Amiga (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 62 - 82 - 7, fighting out of Las Vegas, Higanti Libat!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 62 - 78 - 9, fighting out of Las Vegas, Gakus Amiga!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Tiny Johnson and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Amiga misses with a head kick.
Libat shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Amiga pinned against the cage. Amiga gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Libat tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Amiga defends well and Libat ends up having to push Amiga into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Despite the aggression on Amiga's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
Libat is fighting off a takedown attempt but Amiga is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Libat to the mat. Libat regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

Amiga slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Libat is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

and Amiga makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Libat shoots in looking for a takedown. Amiga tries to sprawl out of it but Libat keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Amiga manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Amiga tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Amiga decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Libat is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Amiga is taking a breather. Libat says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

Libat is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Amiga thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
