Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Orlando Sanguinetti (ranked 3712 p4p, 23712 weight class) and Tater Salad (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 32 - 16 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Orlando Sanguinetti! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 8 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Tater Salad! The judges for this bout are Percy O'Donnell, Timothy Bukovac and Don Winkell.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sanguinetti lands a jab. We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Salad has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. A cross from Sanguinetti lands. Sanguinetti scores with a decent looking hook. Sanguinetti scores with a decent looking hook. Salad shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Sanguinetti but Sanguinetti pushes him off and we're back to square one. Sanguinetti works the jab nicely.
Sanguinetti drops Salad with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Salad looks back up at him and smiles so Sanguinetti waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Sanguinetti ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Sanguinetti sends Salad crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Sanguinetti is motioning to the referee to let Salad up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
 Salad is rocked!
Salad gets the takedown into side control. Sanguinetti on the wrong end of some ground and pound. Salad wants to control but Sanguinetti is keeping him busy. Sanguinetti is being controlled here. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Sanguinetti is trying to get back to half guard. You can see the frustration on Sanguinetti's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Salad throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage. The referee tells the fighters to keep busy. Sanguinetti is trying to control Salad's posture but Salad avoids it. Salad wants to lay and pray for a moment but Sanguinetti keeps working. Sanguinetti is looking to regain half guard here but Salad keeps moving and retains side control. Sanguinetti manages to work his way to half guard, despite Salad's best efforts.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Salad slows the pace down in half guard. Salad throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Salad sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Sanguinetti defending well though. Sanguinetti has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Salad is working away from the top position though. Salad is figuring out what he wants to do next.
 The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Salad shoots in for a double leg but Sanguinetti sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Sanguinetti listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. Sanguinetti goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

Salad closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Sanguinetti has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Salad is on him like a limpet, forcing Sanguinetti back against the cage. A right handed body shot lands from Sanguinetti.
Salad is trying to pull guard but Sanguinetti turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. Orlando Sanguinetti has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. Sanguinetti trying to control the position from guard on top but Salad is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Sanguinetti controls from within his opponent's guard.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Sanguinetti trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Salad is looking to stand up but Sanguinetti isn't so interested in that idea. Salad has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Sanguinetti trying to control but Salad is working from the bottom. Salad wants to stand but Sanguinetti is controlling the position.
 The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Salad has his takedown stuffed and Sanguinetti connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Orlando Sanguinetti dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Sanguinetti lands with an uppercut that bounces Salad off the cage and back into range. Salad misses with a takedown
and Sanguinetti counters with a shoot takedown. Salad fights it but they end up in guard. Orlando Sanguinetti overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Sanguinetti showing good wrestling skills to control the position.

 That's one minute gone in the round. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Salad lands a nice short elbow. Salad wants to take a breather but Sanguinetti is having none of it. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Salad is looking to advance position but Sanguinetti won't allow it. Salad throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Sanguinetti preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Sanguinetti is trying to control but can't.
 The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Sanguinetti looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Orlando Sanguinetti is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Sanguinetti connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Sanguinetti lands with a good body shot. Salad on the wrong end of a nice jab. Salad walks into a stiff left hand from Sanguinetti. Salad looks for a takedown but Sanguinetti sprawls well. A left lands for Sanguinetti. Sanguinetti is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Sanguinetti fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Nice jab there from Sanguinetti. Sanguinetti lands a nice shot to the body.
Orlando Sanguinetti seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Sanguinetti lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Salad is still on wobbly legs! Can Sanguinetti finish him? Sanguinetti fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Salad on the side of the head. Salad misses with a series of wild punches.
Salad seems to have recovered his senses. Sanguinetti connects with a nice cross there... Salad is looking wobbly and Sanguinetti recognises it - he's rushed in and lands two more brutal shots that send Salad to the canvas, out cold! A brutal finish to the fight - Sanguinetti jumps onto the cage to celebrate with the crowd!
