Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Alan Glass and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gordon lands a nice leg kick that just misses Silakka's sensitive parts.
Gordon wants to clinch up but Silakka keeps it at a distance.
Gordon fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Gordon closes this distance looking for a takedown but Silakka circles away.
Silakka instigates a clinch.
Silakka takes an elbow to the forehead.
It looks like Timo Silakka has been cut.
Silakka stops a takedown attempt from Gordon.
Timo Silakka has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Flash Gordon.
Gordon lands a knee to the body.
Gordon is working for takedown but Silakka is calmly controlling the position for now.
Silakka drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Gordon gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Gordon pulls guard.
Silakka content to stall in guard here.
Silakka throws a strike but Gordon rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Gordon must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Silakka is trying to control the position from the bottom.

Silakka lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Gordon!
Silakka wants to control the pace but Gordon is squirming around nicely.
Silakka fails to advance to Gordon's back.
Silakka is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Gordon can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Gordon sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.
Gordon looks gassed!

Gordon is refusing to be controlled, as Silakka sits in half guard.
Silakka seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Gordon is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
